Hello and Welcome to our November Newsletter!

We are so thankful for each and every one of our members that keep our club going on a day to day basis. We love having the privilege of working for you and hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and friends.

We would like to take a moment to thank Brenton Rice for his time while here with us at Weymouth. We will miss him but wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors!

Dear Members,

I am excited that I will be spending more time at Weymouth Country Club, which will allow me to get to know you, the members and the facility better.

I was born and raised in Kansas City, KS, Go Chiefs, but haven’t lived there since 2001.  I spent the next 6 years in the Carolina’s, at school and at Harbour Town Golf Links.  My next 11 years were spent in Arizona at two different private country clubs; Desert Mountain and Arrowhead.  I have been with Arcis Golf since 2015 and at Fox Meadow since March of last year.  My wife, Courtney, is from the Columbus area and we are both excited to be living and raising our family near hers.  We have a six year old daughter named Eliza and a 2 year old son named Cooper and live in Broadview Heights.  I hope that those of you that haven’t get to meet my family before too long.

Your senior team will still be handling the day-to-day operations, as I will be serving as the interim General Manager until we find a full-time replacement for the position.  I greatly appreciate their unwavering commitment to Weymouth and look forward to working with the Weymouth team which consists of Ken Aukerman, Kevin Maust, Rich Kovac, Aleese Stark, Connie and Jerry Kuykendall, Holly Kenney, Ben Walsh, Richard Wuff, Laura Shaw and their teams!

I most efficient way to communicate with me would be via email at rsmyser@arcisgolf.com as I will be splitting my time between the two clubs.  Thank you for allowing me to be part of Weymouth Country Club and I look forward to enhancing the overall experience together.

Respectfully,

Rob Smyser

I cannot believe that the colder weather is already upon us. My first season at Weymouth sure went by quickly! First, I’d like to thank everyone for making me feel so welcome my first season. I am so excited to see what next season is going to bring us!  As far as the Pro Shop, we are currently working on some Holiday and Black Friday Sales – stay tuned for more information coming soon!  Also, as the colder weather is here, the hitting net will be set up this weekend. If you are interested in winter lesson packages and information, please feel free to contact me!

Welcome to the Beautiful North Eastern Ohio season of autumn. I personally love the colors and flavors involved. Enjoy the holiday season with family and friends! Look forward to plenty of comfort food features in the coming weeks. I also wanted to thank everyone who attended the Perfect Parings Dinner featuring Rombauer Winery. It was a very intimate and special experience for everyone. Just like the winery’s family goal, a great meal isn’t complete without great wine and don’t forget, wonderful company! Thank you all who joined in making it a wonderful evening. I look forward to seeing all of you throughout the start of the holiday season!
